Dave,
You can't use bend, it will change the orientation of the front polygon.
Try magnet, using it's boundary boxes in modeler. This should not distort
the front polygon.
Or a rail extrude without align turned on.
Or you could bend it, then cut a new front polygon with a boolean function,
but this would change the shape of the face polygon.
Or realign the front polygon after bend using "Set Value" for the polygon
points set to the same "Z" value.
. . . or something else I haven't thought of.
